The Aerotrek A220-A240 aircraft are factory-built two-seat aircraft that have been manufactured in Europe since 1990 with over 300 aircraft now having been produced. The Aerotrek A220-A240 aircraft are modern designs with excellent performance and features -- built with the finest workmanship and materials resulting in completed aircraft of superb quality. The Aerotrek A220-A240 aircraft are FAA-approved S-LSA aircraft that are especially distinctive for having a quick-folding wing design (only one-person, only 10 minutes!).
The Aerotrek A220-A240 aircraft are solid, safe and comfortable S-LSA planes with very reasonable prices and relatively low-cost compared to most S-LSA planes -- and this is because the Aerotrek A220-A240 aircraft have efficiencies of design, manufacturing and distribution.
Aerotrek Aircraft sells our planes "distributor-direct" in the U.S. and Canada. Our standard instrument panel (as shown above) is specially designed so that an aircraft purchaser can start-out with even the most basic panel and then add equipment if/when he ever wants. The main advantage is that it is not necessary to order an instrument panel with an EFIS system installed -- with our standard instrument panel design the Dynon D6 EFIS can very easily be added at any later date. Our standard instrument panel design allows for the installation of an EFIS while keeping the full-size (3.125") ASI, precision altimeter, and VSI.

Our instrument panel has been designed to accommodate almost any GPS...
Almost everybody getting one of our aircraft wants us to install a large-screen GPS in the instrument panel, and our instrument panel is distinctive in being set-up to readily accommodate almost any large-screen GPS system. We offer the AvMap EKP-IV, the Garmin 696, and the Bendix-King AV8OR ACE GPS systems. The XM satellite weather feature is an option for the AvMap EKP-IV and the Bendix-King AV8OR ACE, and it is included in the Garmin 696 GPS. The instrument panel photos below show our "Panel D" with the various GPS units, but we can install any GPS in any of our panel configurations.

The standard 912UL (80 hp) engine offers very good performance with the Aerotrek aircraft, however, the 912ULS (100 hp) engine will provide an even stronger climb rate, much better high-altitude performance, and the 912ULS engine will provide a slightly higher cruise speed at a reduced engine rpm. The Rotax engines have a 2,000 TBO and are designed to run on 91 octane auto fuel (even with ethanol), but also can run on 100LL avgas.
